SCHOOLLAB
Educational stand for learning the features of progressive plant production (aeroponics) for schoolchildren.
About the project
A training stand for studying aeroponics for schoolchildren.
Project goal: Development of a hardware-software complex (training stand) intended for mastering basic skills of progressive plant growing and conducting scientific research by the method of aeroponics. With the help of the developed device children will be able to familiarize and master innovative methods of plant growing, observe and record the results of plant growth and development, conduct scientific ecological and biological research.
What will this project provide?
  • 1
    Advantages
This device will allow germination of plant seeds only on water and without the use of chemical fertilizers, which is relevant when working with minors. While working with the device, children will be able to select agricultural or ornamental crops for research, as well as program microclimate parameters such as humidity, temperature and lighting modes.

    Problem solving
The problem of insufficient awareness of modern methods of progressive crop production among children and students is urgent and requires a comprehensive approach to solve, including through familiarization with progressive methods of crop production within the school biology course. Traditional methods of teaching crop production do not contribute to a sufficiently deep understanding of modern agro-technologies and innovations in this field, only superficially familiarizing children and students with basic concepts, while such progressive methods as aeroponics require deeper understanding and practical experience. The educational stand being developed provides an opportunity for students not only to familiarize themselves with, but also to master advanced crop production methods in practice.
